Amazon Launches Amazon Fire TV

As expected this week, Amazon launched their answer to the set-top box – the Amazon Fire TV. The tiny, streaming media device will retail immediately for $99. According to Amazon, the device is simple and powerful, will offer a huge selection of content (both new and original) and apps, and will have gaming capabilities sophisticated enough to compete with console providers like Microsoft.
