Contently published an excellent article this week, which breaks down what companies like Red Bull, Amex, and Dove are doing to successfully brand their content. Some of the success generating strategies of these companies include: making sure that sponsored content is clearly associated with the affiliated brand, associating compelling stories and impressive production with branded content, and essentially treating "branded content with the same level of quality and effort they'd give to any tangible product or service in the marketplace".
