According to interesting data released by Spotify and The Echo Nest this week, about 48.6% of people skip songs before listening to them in entirety - and a surprising 25% of people skip to the next song within in the first 5 second. According to the data, young people are more likely to skip than old, and those on mobile devices are more likely to skip than users on desktops or laptops.
