Amazon Releases Fire Phone

Amazon released their much talked about Fire Phone this week – as yet another part of their ongoing strategy to attract more customers from their online store. The Fire Phone will retail starting at $199 and comes with a limited time offer for one free year of Amazon Prime. According to CNET, "the phone was not expected to lure any customers over from Apple or Samsung's popular, and more expensive, flagship devices, but instead cater to those who either have yet to invest in a smartphone, or have no loyalty to other low-end brands."
