AT&T and Netflix Agree to Peering Deal

This week Netflix finally agreed to pay AT&T to speed up their video streams by entering into a commercial interconnection agreement with the carrier. This makes AT&T the 3rd major carrier that Netflix has agreed to pay for a faster streaming connection, also known as "peering". Netflix has traditionally fought the ISPs request that they pay them to handle all of the video streaming services incoming traffic, but have recently caved to several major companies due to increasingly slower streaming speeds.
