Foursquare Introduces New "Swarm" App

Foursquare shook things up this week with the introduction of a new app for check-ins, called Swarm. Foursquare is directing users to use this app to check-in, and it offers a bit more in terms of personalization and recommendations than the core app does. Users however have not taken to the additional app well – Swarm only has 2 stars in the app store, and many users have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration with it.
