New iPhone to Have Bigger Screen

The interwebs are buzzing this week in anticipation of the upcoming Apple press event on Sept. 9th, and many outlets are expecting the announcement of a new, bigger iPhone. The larger version would be 5.5 inches (as opposed to the standard 4), but operate essentially the same way as the standard-sized iPhone. According to Quartz, Apple is making to move to larger screened phones, or "phablets", because they are currently "the fastest-growing segment of the mobile market".
