Clear Channel Becomes iHeartMedia

Clear Channel made the big announcement today that they are changing their name to iHeartMedia. According to Billboard, the change was made to reflect and encompass the company's rapidly growing iHeart brand -- and in a press release CEO Bob Pittman stated that "iHeartMedia reflects our commitment to being the media company that provides the most entertainment to the most engaged audiences wherever they go, with more content and more events in more places on more devices" .
