Netflix to Finance Movies

It's no secret that the major studios have no incentive to give Netflix streaming rights to new films until well after in-theatre debuts. Which is why Netflix is teaming up with Harvey Weinstein to finance its own movies, which "will debut simultaneously in theaters and on its streaming video service". The first movie on the slate is the upcoming sequel to "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon", called "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend".
