New Pandora Analytics Tool

Pandora finally jumped on board the big data train with the recent announcement of their own analytics system called AMP. Other major streaming music players like Apple, Spotify, and SoundCloud have long been using analytics to bolster business -- and Pandora will reportedly do the same by using new data gathered to provide musicians with info to help them earn more money. According to Venture Beat, "If Pandora's AMP becomes essential enough to the very creators whose work sustains all streaming services, it can change how music is measured, how artists are paid, and maybe even how musicians promote new music".
