Internet User Milestone

The Internet hits a big milestone next year, with worldwide users projected to surpass 3 billion in 2015. That a 6.2% increase from the past year, and means that about 42.4% of the world population will be using the Internet. According to eMarketer, a driving force in the Internet use surge is "Inexpensive mobile phones and mobile broadband connections are driving internet access and usage in countries where fixed internet has been out of reach for consumers, whether that's due to lack of infrastructure or affordability".
