NBC Launching Comedy Video Subscription Service

NBC confirmed their plans this week to launch a comedy video subscription service, which would target cord-cutters under the age of 35 and cost around $2-3 per month. Content for the channel has not yet been announced, but sources speculate that it could include licensed content from outside NBC, as well as content from existing NBC programs. This stand alone online comedy channel is just one of several projects that NBC is developing with the goal of delivering "content digitally without infringing on linear viewership or current licensing agreements with companies like Netflix".
