State of the News Media 2015

The PEW Research Center released its annual State of the News Media report for 2015, which delves into a wide range of media including TV + local news, network news, cable news, audio, podcasting, public broadcasting, newspapers, news magazines, and more. Some of the more interesting revelations from the report include: 39 of the top 50 digital news websites have more mobile traffic than computer, podcast listening is on the rise (NPR's podcast downloads grew 40% over the last year), and while local and network TV news saw slight increases in viewership, cable news viewership dropped 8% over the 3 main prime-time channels.
