Sony Pulls Music From SoundCloud

This week Sony Music removed a number of major artist recordings from SoundCloud. Music was pulled from over a half a dozen Sony and Columbia artists, which included Hozier, Adele, and Kelly Clarkson. According to sources, the music was pulled over monetization issues, despite SoundCloud's recent efforts so increase revenue for artists via licensing deals and ad-supported tiers.
