OTT Streaming Video Growth

According to a new report, over-the-top streaming video services are set to grow to over 330 million subscribers by 2019. This surge in growth will be driven largely by streaming media devices like Google's Chromecast and Amazon's Fire TV stick, as well as connected game consoles and set-top boxes. The report assumes that these devices will play a bigger role than smart TVs in driving growth because they are easier to use, cheaper, and will work with older-model TVs.
