Apple's Future in Cars

At WWDC this week Apple also teased some cool plans for CarPlay and automaker apps. The company announced that their CarPlay system will soon have the ability to connect wirelessly to iPhones, which had previously required a wired connection at all times in order to function. Apple also revealed that they will be granting automakers access to the CarPlay. This means that they can now design apps to control systems within the vehicle -- a move that will further Apple's goal of transitioning CarPlay into "the main system running in your car".
