Shazam Adds Artist Tags

Music/video ID and discovery app Shazam announced the addition of artist tags this week, a neat new social feature which will center on major artist pages to show what they are currently Shazaming. Users will be able to follow participating artists on the platform in order to see these "tags" on their homepages. The program is kicking off with 30 top acts, including Alicia Keys, Meghan Trainor, and Maroon 5. According to Mashable, "The company is calling this a transition from a pure "discovery" experience to a "shared discovery" experience."
