Cable company Comcast this week announced plans to sell access to TV channels over the web in an effort to compete with cord-cutting services. This new web TV service will be called Stream, and deliver all of the broadcast networks + HBO to subscribers for $15/month. But there is a catch -- according to Recode, "Comcast only plans on selling the service to the 23 million people who get broadband service from Comcast. Which means that Comcast's cord-cutting TV service only works if you don't cut Comcast's cord." Read the full story on Comcast's plans to sell TV via the web here.
