YouTube's Growth

Google released some impressive numbers from YouTube last week -- showing a 60% increase in total watch time from last year. YouTube's mobile growth numbers are particularly impressive, with mobile watch time nearly doubling over the past year -- making YouTube's mobile app more popular for watching videos than any major cable network. Other impressive stats include: average mobile viewing sessions are now more than 40 minutes (up over 50% from last year), and second quarter revenue showed growth of over 11%.
