Snapchat Adds New Publishers

Snapchat added some big names this week to its growing list of publishers -- Buzzfeed + iHeartRadio. The two companies will replace Snapchat's Discover partners Yahoo and Warner Music on the platform, with the goal of attracting the established younger audiences of both companies. According to Recode (regarding Buzzfeed), "Discover serves as a revenue stream for Snapchat, so adding a publisher with 200 million unique readers every month is a pretty logical choice." The company also plans to another round of publishers this summer, including Vox.com.
