Apple Music Finally Announces #s

Last week Apple Music finally revealed early subscriber numbers. According to Eddy Cue, the streaming service has signed up 11 million subscribers since the June 30th launch, which amounts to an impressive 315,000 new sign-ups per day. About 9 million of those subscribers signed up for the basic $9.99/month plan, while the remaining 2 million are on the $14.99/month family plan. Of course, it is important to note that none of these subscribers are currently paying for Apple Music, and the numbers will likely change once the 3 month free trial ends in September.
