Google's Renaming

Big news this week, Google announced that they will be renamed as Alphabet. With this change, the Google brand itself will still exist along with several other holdings (Nest, Calico), but under the newly created parent entity Alphabet. According to the press release, "Alphabet is mostly a collection of companies. The largest of which, of course, is Google. This newer Google is a bit slimmed down, with the companies that are pretty far afield of our main Internet products contained in Alphabet instead."
