Periscope's Popularity Continues To Grow

As live streaming continues to gain momentum in the mobile world, Twitter announced last week that its own live streaming app, Periscope, has an impressive 10 million registered accounts. Twitter also revealed that Periscope users are watching the equivalent of over 40 years worth of video per day, and daily active users are approaching 2 million. According to Mashable, "as companies like Facebook and Yahoo jump into the mobile video streaming arena, the active number of users all around is likely to spike in the coming months."
