Despite all the hype around online radio and streaming services as a discovery tool, a new report by Nielsen confirms that terrestrial radio is still the top way in which Americans discover new music. 61% of listeners surveyed for Nielsen's annual Music 360 analysis reported hearing new music first over AM/FM or satellite radio, which is impressively about 7% more than last year's study. But that doesn't mean streaming isn't still on the rise -- "Nielsen says that online users streamed 135 billion tracks in the first half of 2015, compared to 164 billion in all of 2014."
