Pandora Buys Ticketfly

It was announced this week that streaming radio service Pandora has purchased the ticketing company Ticketfly for $450 million. The purchase will significantly bolster Pandora's Artist Marketing Platform, which gives artists the option to directly message to targeted fans. Pandora will now own the transaction from artist message to ticket purchase. According to Billboard, the acquisition will also "give Pandora additional data that can improve the music and concerts recommended to listeners." Read more on the Pandora/Ticketfly deal here.
