Google+ Relaunching

This week Google launched a revamped version of their troubled social media networking platform, Google+. The new Google+ will focus on 2 key areas, Community -- for interest based groups, and Collections -- an interest based sharing feature similar to Pinterest. According to ReCode, one major reason why Google may have decided to refresh Google+ around interest based groups is because "Advertisers like things built around common interests; it gives them clear targeting — these people really like this thing, and will buy stuff related to it."
