Snapchat Discover Content Now Shareable

Snapchat has finally updated their popular app to allow publishers to share content from their Discover feature on platforms outside of Snapchat (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). This is big news for both publishers, who no longer have to use third-party apps to share Discover content, and Snapchat, who will gain both visibility and an additional metric to measure engagement. According to Fast Company, the new share update “will certainly increase engagement and make Discover channels more popular among Snapchat's existing audience, but the lure of Snapchat-exclusive content may not be enough to convince prospective users to download yet another app.” Read more on the update here.
