Sprint announced today that they will no longer offer 2-year contracts on phones, making it the final of the four major US carriers to do so. Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T now only offer phones to subscribers at full price or through installment plans - ending the hidden fees tucked into the 2-year contracts for so long. This is great news for most phone users, who will now see "increased flexibility and transparency in their phone service".
