Twitter's New Algorithmic Timeline

It was reported late last week that Twitter will soon be introducing a new, algorithmic timeline, which will look more like a Facebook feed. According to the Verge, the new algorithm "will re-order your timeline is based on the one that ranks tweets for the "while you were away" feature that Twitter introduced a year ago." So with the new timeline (which users can opt-out of if they want), when a user visits their Twitter homepage, they will see the most popular tweets first, but all they need to do to see regular chronological timeline is pull down to refresh your stream.
