The charts are influenced by 2 major factors - popularity amongst fans and staying power, and are based on data from over 2500 digital radio services between October 1st 2014 and September 30th 2015. According to SoundExchange, the Breakout Artist of the year was Fetty Wap - which means that Fetty "earned 99% of his total SoundExchange royalties (of all time) in the 12-month period ending September 30, 2015."
