Facebook to Stream Live TV

It was announced that starting this week that the E! Entertainment cable channel will start streaming a daily infotainment show via Facebook. The show, "Live From E!" already exists on the network's site and app, but will be retooled for Facebook's social platform. According to sources, this is just the beginning of Facebook's foray into livestreaming, and they have leverage to acquire content based on the notion that "Partners and publishers worry that if they don't give Facebook what Facebook wants, Facebook will make it harder to find the other stuff they put on Facebook."
