Google Play Music Emerging Artist Series

It was announced this week that Google Play Music is teaming up with media studio Milk to release an emerging artist series. The partnership will hand pick emerging acts for a showcase at Milk's JamRoom in NY, which will then become available in the form of short clips (audio and video), performance footage and more on Google Play Music, Milk's website, YouTube, Vevo etc. According to Google Play Music's head of global content marketing Eric Davich, "We're very interested in investing in artists at an early stage in their career and sticking with them to create meaningful partnerships they and our users can benefit from."
