Apple's First Original Series

Apple just announced the development of their first original series, which will center around the Apple app economy and culture. The new show will reportedly be produced by The Office's Ben Silverman, Will.i.am and Howard Owens Propahate. No details on the release date or distribution of the show have been announced, but some suspect that it may be through the company's "living room"-focused Apple TV set-top box. Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet software and services, did say the new series about apps "doesn't mean that we are going into a huge amount of movie production or TV production or anything like that."
