Ticketmaster to Sell Tickets Directly on Facebook

Ticketmaster recently announced that they will be selling event tickets directly on Facebook, starting at the end of April. This is part of a recent trend of e-commerce companies selling their products directly inside of Facebook's walls - in large part because of a notable decline in customers time spent on the web, and an increase in time spent on apps (Facebook being one of the most popular apps). According to Dan Armstrong, VP and GM of distributed commerce at Ticketmaster, "By putting the ability to buy tickets directly within Facebook we hope that we're going to provide a more seamless purchase experience and sell more tickets".
