Snapchat Stories Booming

This week Snapchat revealed that their 'Stories' feature has create a major boom in use, and has been a major factor in increasing video views on the app to a whopping 10 billion a day. That 10 billion number is especially impressive, as it's a 2 billion increase from February's report of 8 billion daily views. Snapchat attributes much of this growth to a push on their 'Stories' feature, which allows users and publishers to post video/photo content that last for 24 hours. According to Bloomberg, "Snapchat is sharing the new stories statistic with investors to help explain that its app is focused on serving people who create and broadcast content, not just consume it."
