Live Nation Acquires MCN INDMUSIC

This week Live Nation announced their acquisition of the multi-channel network INDMUSIC - which helps artists and labels manage their rights on YouTube. The acquisition is a sign the live events and concerts giant is looking to increase their involvement with video, beginning with the relaunch of Live Nation TV. According to sources, in addition to recent deals with Hulu and Next VR, this "deal marks the beginning of Live Nation's intent to move from the festival fields and concert halls to the living room."
