Snapchat's Predicted Growth

According to eMarketer's latest forecast on mobile messaging and apps, Snapchat is predicted to grow 27% this year, surpassing rivals Twitter and Pinterest in the US for the first time. This expected increase will grow the app's user base by double digits, which is predicted to jump to 58.6 million users. By 2020, the app is expected to add an additional 26.9 million users. According to analyst Cathy Boyle, "Snapchat has tapped into a key change in consumer behavior: The desire for intimate one-to-one or one-to-few communication as opposed to broadcast-style sharing across an entire network.
