Amazon Launching Spotify Rival

Multiple sources are reporting this week that Amazon is just months away from launching a stand-alone music service to more directly compete with platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. Currently the only music service Amazon offers is available to Prime subscribers only. Amazon is currently said to be in licensing negotiations with the major labels and other rights holders, and are aiming for late summer/early fall release.
