Vevo/Warner Music Deal

Big news for Vevo this week, the online music-video company finally signed a long awaited deal with Warner Music Group - the last of the 3 major labels to do so. The crucial deal will allow Vevo to add a substantial amount of content to its recently revamped platform, including videos from major acts like Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and the Grateful Dead. According to CNET "the Warner Music deal checks off a big box as it prepares to launch a subscription service, following a revamp of its app last month for the second time in less than a year."
