Marketers Investing In Live Streaming

A new study released this week shows that US marketers are eager to invest in the live streaming video space. The report predicts that ad dollars will continue shift away from linear TV and towards digital video advertising, and as this happens livestreaming video will account for a significant portion of the relocated ad dollars. According to the study "almost one-fifth of US media decision-makers are planning to invest in live stream video ads in the next six months." The most popular platforms for investment right now are YouTube Live and Facebook Live, who expect to see a significant surge in investment money from brands within the next year.
