Streaming Video Service Growth

According to a recent study released by eMarketer this week, Amazon Prime is the fastest growing among streaming video services. The user base for Prime is expected to grow 16.5% this year, which should land the popular service somewhere around 76.2 million viewers total. According to the report, this growth is likely due in large part to the fact that "Amazon's streaming video service is no longer tied only to annual Prime subscriptions; viewers can now purchase a standalone video subscription on a month-to-month basis, which has helped increase user growth."
