Vevo Launches GIF Maker

This week Vevo launched a new tool which will allow users to turn music videos into GIFs. The tool takes 5 second snippets from Vevo videos and converts them into looping GIFs (complete with text overlays) that can then be shared via Facebook and Twitter. According to Variety, "Vevo's GIF maker comes just days after the popular GIF sharing platformGiphy raised a $72 million funding round- a clear sign that there is some serious money in GIFs."
