This week streaming music platform Amazon Music Unlimited launched their own Family Plan, which will allow up to 6 people to share an account for $14.99/month. This pricing remains the same for all customers, regardless of whether or not they are Prime members (the individual plan is $2 cheaper per month for Prime members) and is competitive with other family plan offerings from Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play Music, which are all the same price. According to TechCrunch, "this price point represents a missed opportunity for Amazon to boost its Prime subscriptions by also discounting itstop-tiered plan. Even if it only cut the price by a dollar or two for Prime members, that could be a compelling selling point for choosing Amazon Music Unlimited - and Prime." Read the full story here.
