Media Reach Among US Teens

eMarketer just published a revealing study on the digital media habits of US kids. The study estimates that about 62% of kids ages 0-11 will use the Internet at least once a month this year - which is lower than teens and adults, but still very substantial. And a lot of this access is via mobile - according to a similar study among 2-11 year olds, "94% had "some kind of internet access," 23% had mobile-only access. Among families in this income bracket who had home access, 20% said their internet "has been cut off in the last year due to lack of payment."
