Snapchat's Music Biz Plans

Hypebot posted a pretty interesting article this week speculating on down how Snapchat might plan to further cultivate their relationship with the music industry in 2017. Major acts like Ed Sheeran and Sage the Gemini have already used the social media platform to tease new music this year, both with great success. Sources say that Snapchat plans to continue to promote artists in this way, and is also expected to release more features which cater to artists and their fans. Some experts also predict that we will see a Spotify or YouTube type music streaming integration within a few years. Hypebot believes that "If Snapchat continues to develop its user engagement and sustainable revenue offerings they will quickly become the number one music platform in the world."
