Musical.ly Original Content?

It was reported this week that social content platform Musical.ly is working on developing original content with top media companies. According Bloomberg, Musical.ly has been working with companies like Viacom and NBCUniversal on original content that would feel less produced, and more participatory - and may even go beyond music (which is what Musical.ly used to build its audience). Not much else is known about the content yet, but according to TubeFilter, "Given that Viacom and NBCUniversal's Musical.ly shows are rumored to be launching over the summer, we expect to hear more details soon about what those companies have in store."
