Netflix Viewing Trends

Netflix recently released a study in which they gathered user data from 22 countries over 6 months to find trends in viewing patterns. The results are pretty interesting, and a few examples include: comedies are more likely to be watched both at the beginning or end of the day, dramas performed best at mid-day, and documentaries were most viewed between the hours of 12am-6am. According to Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix, "We've given consumers control and it's interesting to see the behaviors that emerge when viewers aren't tied to a schedule.
