eMarketer just reported on an interesting study done on the changing media habits of millennials and teens, which revealed younger internet users (ages 13-17) that they are shifting away from text-based online content like blogs and publisher sites. The study, commissioned by Fullscreen, also revealed that millennials and teens are spending more time with video and social content, but that didn't mean that they were cutting back on time spent watching TV. eMarketer noted that "the amplified video viewing didn't necessarily mean they were watching less TV. Among the younger group, 40% said they were watching the same amount of TV as last year, while 35% said they were watching at least a bit less and 25% were watching at least a bit more."
