Streaming Music Trends

Hypebot put together a very interesting list of streaming music trends to watch, and the implications that they might have for ownership, revenue, and the industry as a whole. A few of the important numbers to watch include: Spotify's subscriber #s (which have grown impressively over the past year and might indicate a coming IPO), and the amount of streaming revenue brought in in 2017. Hypebot also thinks that it will be important to keep an eye on the aftermath of the Pandora/SiriusXM deal, which could potentially make or break Pandora in its efforts to compete with Spotify.
