TechCrunch did an interesting write up this week on the future of e-commerce, beyond the mega-retailers like Amazon and Alibaba. Studies in e-commerce trends have revealed that while it may seem hopeless to try and compete with these huge companies, this may actually not be the case - and there's still a huge opportunity for startups to capture millennial dollars. E-brands like Dollar Shave Club and 73Hours have proven that there is a market for curated products - and as the article points out, these "E-brands and vertical marketplaces aren't going to compete with this kind of warehouse search.
